Last year I had the privilege of participating in the first Seed School Philippines organized by Friends of ENCA. Here's an article I wrote about it. Local Organic Farmers to Save Seeds. That was the title I gave the article. I sent it in, and heard nothing for a long, long time, so I thought that was that. But the editors over at GMA News breathed some life into it, and here it is! Its new title is Pinoy Farmers Move to Save Seeds for Posterity, and while it's not a bad title at all, posterity is not quite the reason saving seeds is so important. So read on, if you like.
